PARTNERSHIPS
Peace Learning Center
Peace Learning Center teaches mindfulness, conflict resolution and stress management skills to students and teachers. MTI teamed up with Peace Learning Center to increase kindness, and reduce conflict in our school. Students visit Peace Learning Centers, and instructors also come to MTI for presentations and workshops.
Marian University
MTI has a strong partnership with Marian University, for over three years. Marian University partnership has benefited students as well as teachers. Marian University students assist MTI teachers by student teaching, one on one tutoring and managing after school clubs. MTI also rents facilities at Marian for events such as Movie nights, tournaments, and high school workshops.
AFFILIATIONS
Masjid Al Fajr
MTI and Masjid Al Fajr have a strong positive relationship that benefits both the community, and our students. MTI and Masjid Al Fajr were founded together, and share strong ties since 1999. Together, MTI and the Masjid host a successful food pantry on weekends, Iftar program every Ramadan, and after school Quran program in the masjid. In addition, MTI students regularly visit the masjid for regular halaqas, workshops and Islamic programs.
